​Exploring the Essence of Ancient Architecture to Empower Project Construction

​To facilitate the high-quality advancement of the Landscape Garden Project, from October 31 to November 6, 2025, Shen Binhong, Executive Assistant to the Group President, led an inspection team consisting of relevant leaders and staff from the Real Estate Company to conduct a 7-day special inspection on ancient architectural gardens in Hangzhou, Wuxi, Yixing, Suzhou and other places.

The inspection team focused on visiting 4 intended bidding units for the subcontracting of ancient architectural works of the Landscape Garden Project, and made a detailed understanding of each enterprise's qualifications, business scope, project performance and technical strength. It also paid an in-depth visit to the Taihu stone market, comparing the product types, prices and producing areas of the East China Stone Material Market and the Yixing Dagang Taihu Stone Market, so as to provide references for optimizing material selection for the project.

In addition, the inspection team conducted on-site visits to two representative Suzhou ancient architectural gardens—Lingering Garden and Master of the Nets Garden. With professional explanations from the design institute, they appreciated the artistic charm of Suzhou-style gardens featuring "one window, one scene; every step brings a different view", and conducted in-depth exchanges on the design and construction ideas of the project. Meanwhile, the team also visited manufacturers of materials such as brick carvings and ancient architectural doors and windows, learned about the process details of hand carving, machine carving and other techniques at close range, and fully grasped the core information of ancient building material production.

This inspection not only provided key basis for the screening of subcontractors and material procurement for the Landscape Garden Project, but also laid a solid foundation for absorbing the essence of Suzhou-style garden construction and building high-quality garden architecture.
